The science bit (kept simple) Here is the thing: when you swap out those old, tired lamps for high-output infrared quartz tubes, you change the way heat actually hits the PET preform. We lean heavily on short-wave radiation. Why? Because it sinks into the plastic way faster than the long-wave stuff. Plus, as filaments age, they lose their punch. Putting in fresh, spec-accurate halogen tubes basically recovers all that lost energy. It’s like giving the machine a second wind. Will it actually fit? Yes.
