Stop Waiting on Your Oven to Warm Up
Ever feel like your production line is just… idling? You’re standing there, watching the clock, waiting for the oven to finally hit the target temperature so you can actually get to work. It happens all the time in PET blowing and industrial curing. The problem is that standard convection or primary coils usually leave “cold spots.” They just can’t push the heat everywhere fast enough. That’s where auxiliary halogen heating tubes come in. Think of them as a turbo boost. Instead of waiting for the air to warm up, these tubes shoot infrared energy straight into the mix, slashing your heat-up time. The Nitty-Gritty on Power We build these replacement coils to pack a massive punch without taking up much space. For example, a typical high-output tube might run at 400V to push over 2000W through a 300mm quartz envelope. Why the high voltage? Because it lets us get a ton of heat density without drawing so much current that you trip every breaker in the building. It’s fast. Really fast. The lamp hits full power in seconds, not minutes. Quality Stuff that Just Fits We use high-purity quartz glass for a reason. It lets the IR radiation pass right through the tube and into your product, rather than the tube just soaking up the heat itself. And we kept the installation dead simple. Depending on your setup, we use R7s or Sk15 connectors. You don’t have to spend your weekend rewiring a control cabinet. You just pull out the old, burnt-out tube and slide the new one in. Done. Some of our versions even have a special coating. It tweaks the emission spectrum so the heat hits your product, not the oven walls. A Quick Word of Caution Here’s the thing: adding more heat is great for your throughput, but it changes the vibe inside your machine. If you’re cramming more wattage into the zone, your cooling fans and exhaust have to keep up. If your ventilation is a bit weak, you might accidentally cook your sensors or melt some wiring. Just make sure your airflow can handle the extra heat. Balance the wattage, avoid the hotspots, and you’re golden.
