A quick heads-up on the heat Here’s the thing: these lamps put out a massive amount of energy. Because they’re so powerful, you’ve got to make sure your oven’s ventilation and cooling can keep up. If your cooling is weak, the housing will get too hot, and you’ll start frying your lamp sockets. But once you’ve got the airflow sorted, it’s a win.
