It&amp;rsquo;s slow.&#xA;Our IR tubes are different. The second your sensor hits the target, the power cuts and the heat drops. No more &amp;ldquo;overshooting&amp;rdquo; the temperature and scorching your food or messing up your industrial coatings. Most cheap tubes can&amp;rsquo;t handle that kind of rapid expansion and contraction; they just crack.&#xA;Usually, the seal where the wires meet the glass is the first thing to go. We fixed that with a reinforced sealing process. It keeps the vacuum tight, even when the system is oscillating constantly. It just lasts longer.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A few things to keep in mind&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Now, you get incredible heat density and speed, but it&amp;rsquo;s not a magic wand. There are a couple of trade-offs.&#xA;Since short-wave IR penetrates surfaces so quickly, you have to make sure your internal airflow is balanced. If it&amp;rsquo;s not, you&amp;rsquo;ll end up with hot spots.&#xA;Also, please—do yourself a favor—wire these into a high-speed SSR (Solid State Relay). If you try to use a mechanical contactor, the switching frequency will chew through it in no time.&#xA;We built these for the high-pressure environments where you can&amp;rsquo;t afford to have the line go down.
